Acclaimed British musician and actor, Mike Holoway, comes to Crazy Coqs this October for two intimate musical evenings as he will debut his new single, Drummer Man, before embarking on a UK tour with new musical, Brothers Beyond.
Holoway rose to fame in the '70s as the drummer and percussionist in musical group, Flintlock, where he made his first TV appearance with the group at the age of ten. At the same time, he also became an actor and starred in the cult TV series, The Tomorrow People. Following the success of the group and his TV career, he was awarded the TV Times 'Personality of the Year' award in 1976.
Holoway has appeared in a number of stories in The Tomorrow People audio series throughout the '00s and, in 2007, reunited with his Flintlock band members for a one-off gig. Holoway's theatre career started at an early age by playing 'Boy Babe' in Babes in the Wood at the London Palladium and saw him tour in the leading role of 'Joseph' for 3 successful years in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
