Marti Webb makes her cabaret debut at Crazy
Coqs singing songs from her musical shows and recordings. She will
be accompanied by her Quartet of Musicians led by Andy
Read.
Long established as one of Britain's favourite musical stars she
has performed leading roles in the West End productions of Stop
The World I Want To Get Off, Half-a-Sixpence, Oliver, Godspell, The
Card, Good Companions, Evita, Song and Dance, Cats, Thoroughly
Modern Millie, Tell Me On A Sunday, Blood Brothers and The
7 Deadly Sins (for the ENO). In addition Marti has starred in
the touring productions of Oliver, Evita, The Goodbye Girl,
Annie, The King and I, Hot Flush, Oklahoma and 42nd
Street.
Marti recently had a sell-out week at the St James Theatre with Tell Me On A Sunday which transferred to the Duchess Theatre for a further 3 weeks. It was broadcast on BBC Radio 2 and earned her a nomination for an Olivier Award. The musical was written for Marti by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black, originally a number 1 album and TV special. She has made nine solo albums, appeared in four Royal Variety performances and has made many TV appearances.
