After a successful EP Launch at Toulouse Lautrec, Mariska Martina is back with her quintet performing at Crazy Coqs with songs from Something Blue.

Martina is a jazz-singer and songwriter, who creates seductive tones combining her love for jazz with her semi-latin roots. After studying cello at the Hogeschool Voor de Kunsten in Utrecht, she moved to London in 2015 where she made a dramatic change in her career and started singing jazz while studying at London Contemporary Centre of Music. Martina's quintet (founded in November 2016) has performed at various prestigious venues including Ronnie Scott's, Jazz After Dark and the Stoke Newington Music Festival. She has also played various shows for Sofar Sounds.

"Mariska Martina is a real talent. Her writing is original and strong, her voice is fresh and emotional... One to watch" - Roddy Matthews

"The songstress reminds me of Joni Mitchell" - iSing Magazine
