JULIAN VELARD: PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME PLAY PIANO MAN

Inspired by the unsuccessful experimental Broadway shows of the 1970s, Julian Velard has written a musical about his own life. A Manhattanite living in Queens with a young family, Velard has quit the music business for the stable world of theatre. Joined by his co-writer and fellow dad Mark from the Park, Velard presents his disaster piece in an attempt to solve the problem of growing up.

Velard's song writing and comedic timing have made him a regular on The Howard Stern Show and NPR, and have won acclaim in The Guardian, Time Out London, The Sunday Times and The Wall Street Journal.
