''Effortlessly amusing.'' The Guardian.
''The audience - gay, straight, young, old - loved Clary and it was easy to see why.'' Evening Standard
"I'm hoping it will be a classy occasion. Me perched on a stool sharing a bowl of cheesy balls with the audience before launching into my carefully honed musical repertoire. Think Bruce Springsteen without the gingham shirt, " says Julian of his forthcoming shows at Crazy Coqs
Following his sell-out residency in 2014, Julian Clary is back with FOR THE LOVE OF COQS, a daringly intimate evening of camp cabaret alongside his pianist Simon Wallace. Expect music, an abundance of laughter, sharp- witted jibes, often at the expense of the audience, and partying up close and personal with the man himself.
Much-loved comedian and elder statesman of the double entendre, Julian remains one of the country's most popular and least predictable entertainers. In the past year Julian's career has gone from strength to strength. He has completed a smash-hit UK tour of Position Vacant: Apply Within, lent his sharp tongue to the judging panel on Your Face Sounds Familiar (ITV), shared an insight into his 30 year career in showbiz on Piers Morgan's Life Stories (ITV) and terrorised the audience with a cattle prod on The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV).
Since winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2012, Julian has also appeared on numerous TV shows and remains a regular panelist on BBC Radio 4's Just a Minute. He is also a Sunday Times best-selling novelist and his third book, Briefs Encountered, was published in March 2013 to unanimous praise.
