John Etheridge returns to Crazy Coqs with his much lauded solo show for this year's EFG London Jazz Festival.

Employing an arsenal of guitars - and playing music spanning the decades and the continents - this is one of the most eclectic and all-embracing guitar extravaganzas. From Django Reinhardt to Jimi Hendrix ,the repertoire reflects the career of a man who has been associated with acts as varied as Stephane Grappelli, Soft Machine, John Williams, Nigel Kennedy, Hawkwind, and Caravan. All this is delivered with humour and panache; an appeal that goes far beyond the guitar market.

John will be joined as a special guest by the sensational vocalist Vimala Rowe with whom he recorded the celebrated album Out of the Sky.

"How can anyone achieve this level, not just of skill but of musical inclusiveness? Nothing seems to be beyond Etheridge's grasp" - The Observer

"Etheridge's penchant for simple, unaffected melody lines makes him ideal company in a venue as intimate as this" - The Times (at PizzaExpress Jazz Club)
