With a world class voice and electrifying stage presence, known as a New Age Renaissance Man, Jeremiah James returns to London after an almost 10 year absence.
James first burst onto the London theatre scene as a member of Sony/BMGs recording group Teatro (billed as Theatreland's first super group). He continued to rise, starring as Billy Bigelow in the 2009 revival of Carousel at Savoy Theatre, before returning to his native USA to release his first solo venture, Jeremiah James: Tuelpo on Yellowsound Records to critical acclaim. With the success of the album and following concerts, James was invited to the prestigious Cabaret Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Festival where he honed his writing talent by developing his first one man show, Jeremiah James: My Inner Superman, subsequently selling out The Metropolitan Room in NYC as well as venues across the US and as far away as Zimbabwe, Africa.
His current show, Jeremiah James: Choose Love, is a retrospective and celebration of love in all its forms; from the silliness of your first crush, to the awkward learning curve of dating, to the heartache of breakups, and to one day finding the real thing. Utilising his unique brand of storytelling, James will take you on a musical rollercoaster ride, crossing genres from Rodgers and Hammerstein's If I Loved You and Bert Kaempfert's L-O-V-E, to Barry Manilow's dynamically thrilling Even Now and Burt Bacharach's upbeat grabber There's Always Something There to Remind Me, to name a few.
With a band led by the incomparable Musical Director Andrew Hopkins (resident conductor of The Welsh Musical Theater Orchestra) and along with some special guests, James is thrilled to debut Choose Love at Crazy Coqs.
