International comedy cabaret singer, actor and muse, James 'Biddie' Biddlecombe, hits Crazy Coqs this February with songs and stories from the sublime to the meticulous. Showcasing his stunning vocals, he will deliver his own hilarious material - co-written with his long-time accompanist, Chris Marshall - as well as interpreting less well-known songs from the greats.

Expect flamboyance, drama, and laughs with outrageous pop spoofs, heart-rending ballads and much more. This is a roller coaster ride of emotion; a fast-moving voyage through a life in cabaret from Langhan's in the 1970s, The Blitz Club, Ronnie Scott's and even touring opera.

"….(James) is one of the very few singers whose versatile voice is always perfectly in tune and clear as a bell, every lyric delivered with exquisite precision and his characters are presented dead straight but played with consummate empathy" - Aline Waites, remotegoat.com

"He hones in like a sequinned Exocet" - Sue Heal

"Biddie doesn't merely cover songs: he reinvents them. In the words of Carole Bayer Sager: Nobody Does It Better" - Peter Parker, Author of "Isherwood"
