Gwyneth Herbert is a strikingly original performer, award-winning composer and lyricist and versatile musical adventurer who continues to redefine and challenge expectations. Drawing on influences from the worlds of jazz, folk, contemporary classical music and storytelling, she has released six critically albums to date on major, independent and self-owned labels, and toured across the world with her band.

Long-recognised for her rare vocal talents and extraordinary ability to connect emotionally with her audience, Herbert's last album, The Sea Cabinet, further enhanced her reputation as one the most imaginative and idiosyncratic artists of her generation. 2018 sees the launch of her hugely anticipated seventh album and live show, Letters I Haven't Written, songs from which she recently performed in session for BBC Radio 2 and live from the Edinburgh Festival on Radio 3.

She returns to Live At Zédel in a wonderfully intimate performance with pianist Ned Cartwright.
