A born entertainer, the highly versatile internationally acclaimed Freetown-based vocalist, Gwyn Jay Allen, is loved by British audiences. His appearance on Sir Michael Parkinson's London Palladium Show with the BBC Concert Orchestra was cheered, and with his own ensemble he has played to full houses at Ronnie Scott's, the Royal Albert Hall and the Pizza Express Clubs. Tours have taken Gwyn to New York, Paris, Melbourne, Marbella, Rabat, Malé, Abidjan, Calabar and Port of Spain. Gwyn returns to Crazy Coqs following his acclaimed debut in 2018.

Accompanied by a four piece band - featuring Quentin Collins (trumpet), Al Macsween (piano), Neville Malcolm (double bass) and Shaney Forbes (drums) - this highly acclaimed return features Gwyn's delightful Creole Jazz tribute to Louis Armstrong and an engaging personal journey, "Freetown-The Return".
