Broadway actress Glory Crampton celebrates the songs of Maury Yeston, Tom Jones & Harvey Schmidt, Lerner & Lowe, Rodgers & Hammerstein and many more in her Crazy Coqs debut. Join her for an afternoon of cabaret as she sings songs that she recorded with the National Symphony at Abbey Road studios, as well as favourites from her starring roles in shows including Nine, Phantom, and The Fantasticks. Her repertoire will also include a new song from the current London premiere of Rothschilds and Sons, where she created the role of Gutele Rothschild in the New York production archived at Lincoln Center and the original cast recording.
Crampton has sung at Radio City Music Hall as soloist to The Three Tenors' Jose Carreras, (Orchestra of St. Lukes), as a solo artist for The Royal Crown Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg, and is currently touring globally as a concert artist. She has played leading ladies in Guys and Dolls, Camelot, My Fair Lady, Death Takes a Holiday, and Hello Dolly. Recent TV work includes Tut (Sir Ben Kingsley / Spike TV) and The Good Wife (CBS). Crampton is a motivational speaker and can be heard on a recent TEDX TALK.
"Crampton's song renditions write the book on how one gorgeous voice and one thinking and feeling actress can put a fresh stamp on songs you think you've heard before, but never quite as moving and lovely as this" - Maury Yeston
