Fraser & the Alibis, one of the most exciting young instrumental bands in London pay tribute to their idol, Jazz legend Jimmy Smith.

Few musicians made as much impact in changing the course of Jazz history as Smith. After mastering the Hammond Organ at an early age and reinventing the classic jazz quartet, he created his own distinct, infectious, soul driven sound that inspired generations to come. Amongst countless other accolades he recorded with Michael Jackson and released 30 albums in his own name for Blue Note records in just 8 years. Miles Davis once pronounced him "The eighth wonder of the world".

Fraser and the Alibis have played more than 400 gigs together since the band's conception in 2007. Following the successful release of their much-anticipated debut album last year, join them as they return to the source of their musical inspiration. Moving from swing through to jazz-funk, the band present the hits and the hidden gems in chronology.

Featuring Fraser Smith (Tenor Sax), Joe Webb (Hammond), Harry Sankey (guitar) and Gethin Jones (drums).
