Dominic Ferris' piano recordings on Elvis Presley's If I Can Dream album with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra sold over a million albums worldwide. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios and produced by Don Reedman and Priscilla Presley, the album became the biggest selling record of 2015 by a non-UK artist.
Ferris joined the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as assistant musical director and pianist for the Elvis Presley: If I Can Dream UK arena tour, the Czech Symphony Orchestra for the European tour and Memphis Symphony Orchestra for the USA anniversary tour, ending with a performance at Graceland with Priscilla Presley for the Elvis 40th Anniversary Celebrations.
Ferris trained at the Royal College of Music and performed at the international press launch of the Royal Wedding. He also provided the piano recordings for the Opening Ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics.
Ferris is one half of two critically acclaimed duos - The Piano Brothers, and Ferris & Milnes; known for their mashup medleys including 33 Sondheim Numbers in 5 Minutes, which they premiered at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in Stephen Sondheim's 85th Birthday Gala.
Ferris' debut show at Live At Zédel will draw on a wide variety
of his musical influences
including music by Chopin, Gershwin and Elton John.
