Daryl Sherman

" Smart, funny, swinging..a canny singer and pianist of rare gifts." - Gary Giddins, Village Voice NYC

"An impish, swing oriented pianist-singer, Daryl Sherman's blend of well-honed anecdotes and astute musicianship - a performance that had the audience hanging on her every word." - Clive Davis, The Times

Manhattan mainstay Daryl Sherman returns to Crazy Coqs to celebrate a brand new CD "My Blue Heaven". This is her first recording on a label in Japan where she returns for the fourth time this spring. In addition to the title song chestnut (popular in Japan as "A O Zora") Daryl presents her up close and personal view on love and pursuit of happiness.

From "Wouldn't It Be Loverly" ,Blossom Dearie's "Inside A Silent Tear" "Let's Go Live In A Lighthouse" and "Fly Me To The Moon," her brand of whimsy, longing and laughter will warm your heart on a cold winter's eve.

Before and during the shows, cocktails, wines, champagnes and snacks are available. We would also encourage you to enjoy a meal in the Brasserie before or after a performance.
