BABS SAVAGE

"Seeing Babs Savage perform live is like going to a brilliant party. This Hampstead mum turned R&B / soul star who has topped dance charts in USA, not only has a stunning rich voice but a great personality too which shines through her performance. Don't miss her. It's a fab night out" - The Ham & High

After winning the 2018 International Chicago Music Award for her 'Outstanding Contribution To Music', Babs Savage returns to Crazy Coqs with her four piece band.

Babs hit the London stages when she was just 15 and opened for George Michael's hit band Wham. Spending several years as a recording artist, she then rose to the challenge of songwriting. After meeting with Rickey Rainbow, one of Chicago's most highly acclaimed producer/singer songwriters, they produced Babs debut album, London Kisses. Her singles, La La and Hot Apple Pie, both topped the US billboard charts and Hot Apple Pie made it to #1 DRT charts.

For one night only, Babs will a cover her favourite songs from Stephanie Mills, Diana Ross, and Nina Simone to David Bowie as well as performing her own material.

Babs will be joined by special guest, the award-winning singer/songwriter, Tony Moore. As an early member of Iron Maiden and former keyboard player with Cutting Crew, Tony has helped the early careers of artists such as KT Tunstall, Ed Sheeran, James Morrison, James Bay and hundreds more, and performed all over the world playing everything from sold-out arenas to intimate house concerts.
