  • Show Description
  • Typecasting and a theatre career drove our heroine to insanity.

She exchanged theatre wings for padded walls, glamorous costumes for a white nightgown, adoring audiences for a bunch of inmates.

    Yet, she will sing!

You are cordially invited to a Madwoman’s cabaret, to celebrate that fine line between creativity and insanity.

Join Miss Salvi and her psychothera-pianist Michael Ferreri in a musical group therapy, administered through the wonderful melodies of Stephen Sondheim, Kurt Weill, Kander & Ebb, Maury Yeston, Tom Lehrer, Heisler & Goldrich, Nadav Wiesel, Emily Autumn, The Therapy Sisters and other talented authors, who realised that a good madwoman can inspire the greatest songs.

After critically acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Brighton Fringe, the Prague Fringe, the United Solo Theatre Festival in New York – where it won a Best Cabaret Award – and a sold out performance at The Other Palace Theatre, Miss Salvi is delighted to bring her Madwoman stories and songs to the befitting stage of Crazy Coqs.

    Directed by Clare McKenna.
