  • Internationally renowned singer & BBC Radio 2 regular, Michael Dore returns to Crazy Coqs, this time to celebrate the UK’s best songwriters, from Lennon & McCartney, Newley & Bricusse and John Barry & Don Black through to Elton John, Adele and Tony Hatch.

    He will share songs & stories about working with many of these greats as well as several career highlights such as being part of the legendary Swingle Singers, playing Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera house & the Royal Albert Hall many times. He will shine a light on what it’s like to record over 200 film soundtracks & to be part of Grammy & Oscar winning recordings.

    Michael is known for his critically acclaimed albums ‘Simply’, ‘Fascinating Rhythms’ and ‘Stage by Stage’ (with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) as well as working as vocal coach with stars including Emma Watson, Jeremy Jordan and Taron Egerton, crucially on the film ‘Rocketman’.
