  • Following the sudden passing of Stephen Sondheim just after Thanksgiving, four-time Olivier award winner Maria Friedman returns to Crazy Coqs with a brand-new show celebrating the lasting legacy of ‘The Titan of the American Musical’ (New York Times).

A friend and collaborator of the great man, and long Sondheim’s “favourite singer of my work”, her 2013 production of Merrily We Roll Along won more 5* reviews than any other musical in West End history. This unique occasion will showcase many of Sondheim’s greatest songs – including Being Alive, The Worst Pies in London, Send in the Clowns – with the entertaining and enlightening stories that make a Friedman cabaret a night to remember.

Collaborating with musical director, Theo Jamieson with special guests to be announced soon, this show promises to be a celebration worthy of the most influential composer and lyricist of the last 70 years.
