  • Show Description
  • Critically acclaimed singer, Lorraine Heavey has performed in a number of shows in her home country of Ireland, including a lead role at Dublin’s National Theatre. She went on to perform on National Television’s ‘Live at 3’ and ‘The Late Late Show’, before deciding to give up her showbiz career to raise a family.

About four years ago, Lorraine was in Italy where she had the chance to meet with Barbra Streisand, and this meeting gave her the drive to focus once again on her own music career.

Lorraine has compiled with her band The Flames a show covering many of the great melodies from The Great American Songbook and beyond. Lorraine’s classy show has developed into a smooth and soulful blend of American classic standards, jazz and pop with a touch of Celtic flavour.

Her backing musicians are a four piece band, including some of the best musicians around today.

In the intimacy of Crazy Coqs, this will be an evening to remember.

“Lorraine Heavey is a star, it’s just as simple as that.  Having done 25 years in TV news I know a star when I see one.  There is an expression for on air talent who completely control the viewer’s attention — ‘she eats the camera’.  She is that talent.
She is enchanting.  I wish her such good fortune as she takes London by storm.”  – Lady Susan Lampi
