“…Serra’s voice is graceful and sensual, an occasional added vibrato giving it a hint of the chanteuse. The sound is beautiful…” – All About Jazz
La Bouche Manouche is a vintage jazz quintet influenced by the chic era of the Jazz Age. Their creative repertoire is rooted in the sound of the Parisian Hot Club, featuring Django Reinhardt originals, gypsy tunes and Edith Piaf classics as well as Charlestons, Latin flavours and the Great American Songbook.
Tonight, they will be performing a set of their most popular repertoire that has seen them amass over 3 million views on Youtube, including foot-tapping swing tunes, French chansons and classic standards for an unmissable night of gypsy jazz favourites.
Featuring Irene Serra on vocals, all the musicians in the band are highly
experienced, in-demand performers who have played in many prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Barbican Centre, the Southbank Centre, the Royal Festival Hall and Ronnie Scotts.
