“It’s fun and funky and has to be the best value entertainment in London.” ★★★★★ Thanasis Kalantzis, Cabaret Scenes

When the pandemic hit, your host, Harold Sanditen, and music director, Michael Roulston, didn’t waste a moment, immediately taking the show onto the virtual stage, hosting over 500 singers (and counting!), making the show a global phenomenon, and garnering six BroadwayWorld nominations along the way.

“One of the best virtual variety shows to be found online.”  ★★★★★ Stephen Mosher, BroadwayWorld

Audiences are in for a terrifically exciting show!  Who knows, you might discover the next Streisand or Bublé, or spot a star across the room.

“The range and diversity of the talent is fascinating… slick, self-assured and thankfully fairly unpredictable” ★★★★★ Paul Vale, Musical Theatre Review

Michael Feinstein, Ann Hampton Callaway, Ian Shaw, Barb Jungr, Steve Brookstein, Anita Gillette, Gary Williams, Marilyn Maye, Billy Stritch, Rowan Atkinson, Steve Ross, Amanda McBroom and many, many more have already discovered the excitement of the evening, either attending or performing.

“This is no ordinary open mic… a glorious selection of treats and surprises at every turn” ★★★★★ Fiona Coffey, Cabaret Scenes Magazine

Join host Harold Sanditen and regular musicians Michael Roulston on piano, Robert Rickenberg on bass and Jonathan “Kitch” Kitching on drums at this global hit!

The show runs from 9.15pm to 11.15pm without interval.

  • If you’re a performer, now’s your chance to shine in one of the most beautiful music rooms in London, if not the world. We welcome singers and instrumentalists, and our musicians can play jazz, cabaret, musical theatre, pop, rock, and even opera! We encourage everyone, from newcomers to seasoned professionals.

Here’s what you need to know:

    • Buy a ticket online in advance, or on the door subject to space.
    • Signups begin at 8.45, and the show starts at 9.15 sharp.
    • Sign up directly with Harold Sanditen on the night.
    • The emphasis is on having fun, so lengthy, slit-your-wrist ballads are not allowed. Upbeat/uptempo/comic songs best, and sweet uplifting ballads are acceptable.
    • Bring 2 copies of your music in the correct key. Be sure it’s either in a folder or taped together.
    • When it’s your turn, you will have a short time to give our musicians the feel of your song, just prior to performing it.
    • This is a purely live, musical evening. No stand up comedy, and no backing tracks.
