Eve Ferret is regarded as one of the most original performers on the stage today, she spins cabaret on it’s head and back again.
Warm and heartfelt with ‘a rollicking and tender voice’, Eve brings her life enhancing mix of original songs, stories and completely unexpected choice of material back to Crazy Coqs.
Eve is delighted to have highly acclaimed pianist, composer and producer Simon Wallace join her. Simon has worked with amongst others Lindsey Kemp, Fran Landesman and currently working with Julien Clary. Simon and Eve have known each other for over 40 years as he originally played in the band for Biddie & Eve at the Blitz Club.
Eve Ferret graduated from the seminal Blitz Club in the 1980’s to appear alongside David Bowie in both his Grammy Award-winning Jazzin for Blue Jean and the movie Absolute Beginners, to staring in Hollywood Movies Haunted Honeymoon with Gene Wilder; Ronald Neame’s Foreign Body with Trevor Howard; co starring with Phil Daniels and Alun Armstrong in Billy the Kid and The Green Baize Vampire and playing opposite the great Stanley Baxter in TV’s Mr Majeika. Eve returned to her first love of cabaret – ‘best comeback’, The Stage – and has been selling out ever since.
