In CRAVIN' FOR FLAVIN: Memoirs of a Broadway Gypsy, the perennially popular Tim Flavin, the first American actor to be presented with the Laurence Olivier Award (for his performance in Rodgers and Hart's On Your Toes at the Palace Theatre) looks back at at his early years on the New York stage.

Tim's career encompasses stage, radio, tv and film. West End credits include the role of Billy Buck Chandler in My One and Only at the Piccadilly Theatre, for which he was again nominated for an Olivier Award for best actor in a musical. The role of Bobby Child in Crazy for You at the Prince Edward earned another best actor nomination. Other stage roles are simply too numerous to list. His television and film credits include Any Human Heart for Channel 4. On radio, he has performed on Songs from the Shows, Friday Night is Music Night and Anything Goes.
